UNAIR NEWS聽– Delegation of Student Activity Unit (UKM) Tapak Suci has made a national achievement.聽From 3 to 5 May, the delegation managed to make three achievements.聽They won first place of Women’s Art Double, 3rd place of Men鈥檚 Class F, and 3rd place for Men鈥檚 Class G.
The achievement was made in IPB Tapak Suci Open 2018 organized by UKM Tapak Suci of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB).聽The competition held at Graha Widya Wisuda IPB was attended by 10 delegates, 9 categories (8 single fighters, 1 double Women Art) from UNAIR Tapak Suci.
Galuh Purwaningsih as the manager of the delegation that UKM Tapak Suci has previously made an achievement at national level.
“Before this achievement, we also won in a national championship at 聽UMSU (University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara).聽The team won 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, “said Galuh.
Before the championship in Bogor Agricultural University took place. There were preparations carried out by the team.聽There was an internal selection and athletes were selected to join the training center for approximately 2 months.
“Before the departure, ice therapy was done to restore the athlete’s body condition,” she added.
After making this achievement, Galuh hoped that the team could be better in order to keep making achievements for the campus.
“Hopefully UKM Tapak Suci will be even better and contribute more achievements to our beloved alma mater,” she continued.聽(*)
