Each school has about 22 students who receive scholarships.聽In details, the scholarship reached Rp.聽400,000.聽Dr.聽Hadi added that the scholarship given is for the disadvantaged group, not limited to students who have excellent achievements.聽Because, he continued, nine years of compulsory education applies to all levels of society, regardless their intelligence.

“This scholarship is not associated with achievements.聽Our goal is to help the poor.聽In addition, the compulsory聽education is for聽elementary school until junior high school.聽Smart or not they have to graduate elementary school and junior high school, ” he said.

The criteria of the scholarship recipients are those from economically disadvantaged students.聽Some of the parents work as self-employed, private employees,聽security, parking attendants, drivers, welders, as well as casual laborers.聽The utilization of the scholarship, Hadi said, was left entirely to the recipients.

“Thanks to UNAIR for this scholarship.聽It is very helpful as BOS funds from the government in the second quarter is not yet available, “he said.聽(*)
