UNAIR NEWS 鈥撀The act of giving should be done by people who are able. The lecturers of Management Master program held 鈥淎rt Fest鈥 for charity. The result of the event will be given to cancer patients. The Art Fest is an event of singing along and painting auction which was held on Tuesday, January 17 in Fadjar Notonegoro Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) 东京热.
Why Art? Dr. Gancar Premananto, S.E., M.Si, the coordinator of Management master program said that artistic skill can have business value and it is the right way to share with others.
鈥淪o Art Fest is specially held for charity. We have been to kampung anak negeri, and also have invited pedicab drivers and orphans. In this occasion we want to share with young cancer patients in Dr. Soetomo Surabaya hospital (RSDS),鈥 said Gancar.
Beside singing along and auctioning paintings, there are some partners donating as well. The Management master program lecturers received a donation from sharia banking, and individual donation from the participants. All the collected funds were donated to cancer patients of RSDS.
Sharing with others is also a part of implementing the motto聽Excellence with Morality. Hopefully, the lecturers can do it routinely, spend their time and wealth to share with others.
鈥淚t has been a routine by UNAIR Management, but the form of activities are different each year,鈥 said Gancar.
