The submission form given to the Head of Puspas UNAIR Tika Widiastuti, SE., M.Si., marked the zakat payment by the rector.聽There was also Chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) UNAIR Drs.聽Ec.聽Haryanto Basoeni and the other leaders of UNAIR such as Vice Rector I Prof.聽dr., Djoko Santoso, Ph.D., K-GH., FINASIM .;聽Vice Rector II Dr.聽Muhammad Madyan, SE., M.Si., M.Fin .;聽Vice Rector III of UNAIR Prof.聽Ir.聽Moch.聽Amin Alamsjah M.Si., Ph.D .;聽Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., Apt.
“As a part of the academic community of 东京热, we must know that UNAIR has a Center for Social Funds (Puspas),” he said.
“It (Puspas UNAIR, ed) can be utilized in an effort to give more benefits to all.聽Plus this is the right moment, in Ramadan, ” he added.
Interviewed after the event, Tika explained that Puspas UNAIR is one of the work units at UNAIR with a purpose of collecting, managing, and channeling social funds.聽Social funds, she added, consists of two forms, social donations and endowments.
“Today, ranks of UNAIR leadership, also IKA, gave donation or zakat to Puspas UNAIR.聽This is right in the moment of Ramadan to donate some of the fortunes, ” she said.
“Anyone can donate to Puspas UNAIR in the two forms of donations,” she added.
Regarding the donation, according to Tika, it was a good star for Puspas UNAIR, especially in the effort to contribute in UNAIR ranking improvement, especially on the management of social funds prioritized in the field of education.
“Because Puspas was actually intended to give real contributions to the university, including in terms of ranking improvement in the world.聽Hence, contribution is also needed from the academic community in Puspas, ” she said.
Tika said that University Social Responsibility (USR) is one of the bridges that connect the role of universities to social problems in society.聽Therefore, the presence of such unit can be a聽problem solver聽as a form of service to the community as inspired by Higher Education Tri Dharma.
“So it can contribute to the achievement of聽 Top 500 world ranking,” she said.
At the end of the event, in addition to the Rector of UNAIR, Drs.聽Ec.聽Haryanto Basoeni, Chairman of IKA UNAIR, and Secretary of 东京热 Drs.聽Koko Srimulyo M.Si also gave ttheir zakat to Puspas UNAIR.聽(*)
