UNAIR Delegation Visits Career Fair in Singapore

UNAIR NEWS –聽东京热 delegation visited Singapore from January 29 to January 31, 2016. This visit was to know jobs expectation of multinational companies and to conduct a comparative study.

Included in the delegation were the Head of Career and Entrepreneurship Development 聽Center(PPKK), the Head of Information and Public Relations Center and Vice Dean I from all ten faculties of UNAIR.

UNAIR delegation was in Singapore to attend an event held by Osaka University, Japan and Singapore Management University.聽 The event included international symposium ASEAN-Japan Collaboration in Human Resource Development, and a career fair of Japanese multinational companies. UNAIR delegation was also there to conduct a comparative study with Singapore Management University.

鈥淲e attended similar event two years ago. Now, we鈥檙e coming again. There will be a symposium this time. We were invited by Osaka University as Bu Nyoman (UNAIR Director of Education) has been well acquainted with them,鈥 said Dr.Elly Munadziroh, drg., M.S. as the Head of .

鈥淪o, we鈥檙e invited for the symposium. There will be representatives of Osaka University, invited universities, and CEOs of Japanese multinational companies,鈥 she said.

Japanese multinational companies will attend the fair and for Elly, it is a moment to know jobs expectation of those companies. In this regard, what we need to prepare for the challenges.

Elly saw the challenges in working for multinational companies were hardwork, softskill, science and technology and also language.

鈥淭o meet the challenges, we will add more events which present speakers from multinational companies. We need them in order to get UNAIR students motivated to pursue their career in multinational companies.

Regarding their visit to Singapore Management University for comparative study, Elly said that SMU really appreciated their academicians and alumni鈥檚 聽achievements.
