UNAIR NEWS – Rizka Dara Nabilah, a student of Faculty of Public Health (FKM) 东京热 (UNAIR) is a student with a vast experience of being ambassador.聽She has been Yuk Gresik (Tourism Ambassador) 2017 and Raki of East Java 2018. She has also been Gresik Police Resort (Polres) Ambassador in 2019 on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
Aside from being ambassadors for various activities, Dara was also 2014 East Java Flag Lifting Force (Paskibra) representing Gresik Regency.聽In addition to being active in activities outside the university, Dara also participated actively in university activities, such as in Garuda Sakti UNAIR and UNAIR Student Executive Body (BEM).
“Initially I joined Paskibra in East Java Province in 2014. When I was in college, I joined Gresik Cak Yuk in 2017.聽Alhamdulillah聽I became the best and became the representative of Gresik to Raka Raki, East Java,” she said.
Dara shared some tips for becoming an ambassador in an activity, from how to speak in public and how to manage time between studies and organizations, to聽UNAIR NEWS聽team.
“We must remember our main obligation as students.聽No matter how busy, our studies must be prioritized.聽Overlapping schedule is normal.聽If we follow a lot of activities, how we manage time is the key, “said Dara.
It does not mean that everything goes according to plan, she has also failed in competitions she joined.聽However, strong determination brings perseverance.
“I realize that it still depends on our fortune.聽I have been disappointed and worse.聽Maybe that hasn’t been my lucky time.聽Because I was interested and curious about that field, I was even more enthusiastic about participating in each聽event.聽Alhamdulillah, the more time passes, the聽more I understand that it might be聽my聽passion, ” she added.聽(*)
