UNAIR NEWS聽–聽Study club聽is one of the existing facilities at Faculty of Law (FH) .聽Until now,聽study clubs聽can be considered to be something that has taken root in the Red Campus.聽Both the student executive body (BEM) and the semi-autonomous body (BSO) are both aimed at preparing students for exams, mid-term (UTS) 聽to end of term exam (UAS).
The聽study club is聽prioritized to freshmen who have never taken the exam in college.聽However, it is also possible for students in their last semesters of study.
“Yeah, we usually focus on supporting the freshmen because, they have never had an exam in campus.聽As usual.聽We learn about some courses.聽This time BSO Business Studies Forum (FSB) in cooperation with BSO Airlangga Legal Student Committee (Komahi) discussed commercial and civil law, “explained Alifia as secretary of FSB.
“Actually the final phase students also have a聽study club.聽The difference is, they are more into discussion.聽So, who has taken the course聽taught聽the others, ” she added.
For freshmen,聽study club聽becomes an alternative for learning.聽Because, by following the聽study club, they get additional knowledge apart from the lecturer in the class.聽Uniquely, the tradition of聽study club聽in FH is free of charge.聽It makes the students more enthusiastic.
Not only FSB and Komahi, other BSOs such as Airlangga Young Jurist Society (MYMA) also held a聽study club.聽MYMA decided to discuss administrative law and state administration.
“We determine what courses they need to learn more.聽We first asked the freshmen, then we hold it, “said Alifia.
“Other BSO usually also automatically presented different courses for the聽study club to discuss, but sometimes the topic unexpectedly the same because the do not coordinate first. It is their own program, “added the sixth semester student.
Study club聽conducted by FSB and Komahi on Thursday, March 15 was attended by 40 students.聽They were trained to work on problems from the previous years.聽(*)
