UNAIR NEWS 鈥 In 2016, civitas academica of Faculty of Medicine (FK) 东京热 (UNAIR) was targeted to publish 69 international scientific articles. To achieve the target determined by UNAIR Rector, Vice Dean III FK held a workshop on scientific journal composition. The training was held on Friday, June 24, in Assembly Room A FK UNAIR followed by students and lecturers.
In her address, Vice Dean III FK Prof. Dr. dr. Ni Made Mertaniasih, MS., SP.MK., said that the event was to support UNAIR towards world class university. There were two speakers in the training, Dr. Prihartini Widiyanti, drg., M.Kes., as the head of Scientific Journal and Publication Development (PPJPI), and Dr. Juniastuti., dr., M.Kes., as the journal publication advisor in FK.
In the presentation, Yanti said that requirement to write scientific journal is willingness. 鈥淭he most important requirement is willingness to write,鈥 said Yanti.
The next session was about international journal article submission. According to Juniastuti, one of the problems in submitting journal article is completing the register menu. 鈥淚n this process you have to focus because you need to fill them one by one,鈥 said Juni.
In the closing, Prof. Mertaniasih said that FK UNAIR has been referred by some hospitals for the scientific journal composition. 鈥淪o, scientific journal composition is compulsory for clinical personnels in the hospital,鈥 she said.
