UNAIR NEWS聽– Operation of Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Education (UNAIR) was inaugurated on Tuesday afternoon (26/4).聽The ribbon was cut by Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., Apt., in front of the hospital entrance. It marked the opening of hospital operations which was planned four years ago.
Other leaders of UNAIR accompanying Vice Rector IV in the procession were the Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Prof.聽Dr.聽Pudji Srianto, drh., M.Kes .;聽Director of Veterinary Teaching Hospital UNAIR Prof.聽Dr.聽Kusnoto Supranianondo, drh., MS .;聽and the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs.聽Mirni Lamid, drh., MP.
In addition to ribbon cutting, in the opening there was an MoU (聽Memorandum of Understanding聽) signing session between the UNAIR Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Indonesian Veterinary Hospital Association (ARSHI) on the continuity of cooperation education program.
Prof.聽Dr.聽Kusnoto revealed that the UNAIR Veterinary Teaching Hospital already has a new building, right in front of the old Veterinary Hospital, next to the building of FKH UNAIR.聽It was a four-floor building.
“Compared to the former, the facilities are much better.聽Other facilities will be completed, “he said.聽“The existence of Veterinary Teaching Hospital UNAIR was the only one in East Java.聽 UB (Universitas Brawijaya, ed) is also building one, “he added.
The facilities at UNAIR Veterinary Teaching Hospital, such as waiting room, exam room, physician, drug, operation, preparation, radiology, hospitalization, isolation, medical record, laboratory and diagnostic.
In addition, there is also complete veterinary medicine equipment facilities such as otoscope, ultrasound, x-ray manual,聽x-ray computerized radiology, blood chemistry,聽hematology analyzer, minor surgical instrument, major surgical instrument,聽electrocardiography, anesthesia machine installation, patient monitor,聽electro surgery,聽syringe pump,聽infuse pump,聽Oxy Pulsus Metre,聽Heat Streilization聽, and聽Portable Suction Pump.
UNAIR Veterinary Teaching Hospital supported 15 professional veterinarians, 2 paramedics, and 3 administrative personnel.聽It operates for six days, Monday-Thursday from 08.30-13.00 and 14.00-16.30;聽Friday from 08:30 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 o’clock;聽and Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00.
Meanwhile, Prof.聽Dr.聽Pudji in his speech said that UNAIR Veterinary Teaching Hospital is expected to support FKH as well as become the center of veterinary science development.聽In addition, with the official operation of hospital, UNAIR adds a long list of teaching hospitals after Dental and Oral Hospital and 东京热 Hospital.聽(*)
