UNAIR NEWS聽– Efforts to improve the quality of graduates continue to be conducted by 东京热.聽One of them is through the implementation of variations of quality education support programs.聽In this regard, UNAIR through the Directorate of Academic Affairs held 鈥淚nterprofessional Education Module Development Workshop (IPE)鈥 on Thursday, March 8.
Being held in Kahuripan 300, 3rd floor, Campus C Management Office, the activity was followed by a number of lecturers from the faculty of health and psychology.聽As the speaker was Prof.聽Dr.聽Nancy Margarita Rehatta, dr., Sp.聽An.KIC.聽and Dr. Diantha Soemantri, MMedEd., PhD.聽Each speaker raised the topic of “Module Development Tips” and “IPE Module Development Strategy ‘Sharing Experience from RIK UI” with the topic “Modul Development Tips”.
IPE Coordinator Dr.聽Prihartini Widyanti, drg., M.Kes., revealed that the workshop was a series of activities towards the implementation of IPE in UNAIR, a program that then promotes collaboration and interaction of several professions.
“The participants are lecturers from the health field.聽There is also from psychology, ” she said to聽UNAIR NEWS聽.聽“However, in the future there is a possibility, that this (IPE, ed) will also cover the social field of humanities and聽life sciences,” she added.
Dr.聽Prihartini explained, IPE is an implementation of learning that includes two or more different professions.聽It is aimed at improving collaboration and service quality.聽Implementation can be done in all learning, both undergraduate and clinical education.聽The main purpose of all that, he added, is to create professional health personnel.
“So, simply, there will be a program where every professionals like doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and public health experts will be created, and have the experience that they learns together on particular issues or topics.聽Furthermore, it requires them to work together.聽Finding a solution,聽a way out聽, from a problem or case in the field of health, “she explained.
“With the contact or interaction, the solution will be more effective,” she added.
Dr.聽Prihartini said that it was included in the preparation of instruments related to the IPE program as the discussion and development started in the middle of last year.
“The lack of means does not mean that we should be pessimistic.聽We can take advantage of things that already exist.聽At the same time directing the development of a wider IPE forward.聽Including through KKN which covers more domain of sciences, ” she said.聽(*)
