UNAIR NEWS聽鈥 东京热 through Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) got another visit from senior high school students. This time was from SMAN 1 Sukagumiwang Indramayu, West Java. They were accepted in Kahuripan Hall, Amiadi, the group leader appreciated UNAIR welcome. He was impressed by UNAIR and explained some things such as the objectives of his visit with 208 students and 12 teachers. In his address, he hoped that his students will be motivated to continue their studies to higher education.
鈥淒espite coming from West Java, I let my students to choose university they want, including UNAIR,鈥 he said.
After a lot of information on UNAIR given by the representative of PIH, Drs. Adri Supardi, MS. represented Student Admission Center (PPMB) UNAIR encouraged all students to be careful in choosing programs for their studies as many participants failed because they made mistakes with their choices.
鈥淗ow do you choose a program? First, it has to be something that you are interested in, check its capacity and the competition, then analyze the program with your own ability, and tight competition should be your focus,鈥 he said.
In 2015, almost all programs in UNAIR have tightness below 10%, even Midwives program, Health Nutrition and Communications have tightness below 3%.
鈥淭ightness at 3% means that if there are 100 participants then only 3 will be accepted, in Health Nutrition program tightness was at 1.66% so from 100 participants, two participants will be accepted,鈥 he said.
Eventhough the competition is tight for UNAIR, Dadi Juhaedi, one of the SMAN 1 Sukagumiwang students was sure that he could study in UNAIR, the head of OSIS stayed optimistic regarding the tight competition.
鈥淵es, even I am a bit scared of the competition in UNAIR, it pumps me up to stay focus and optimistic two more years admitted in UNAIR,鈥 said the student who wanted take Islamic Economy. (*)
