UNAIR NEWS聽–聽The Czech Republic聽is one of the European countries with West Slavic language.聽In the north, the country with 10,504,203 population (2011) is bordered by Poland.聽East with Slovakia.聽South with Austria.聽And, west with Germany.
The Czech Republic has established cooperation with Indonesia.聽Indonesian performance and partnerships were conveyed by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Dr.聽Aulia A. Rahman, S.H., M.Si., at 东京热 on Thursday, March 1.聽In Garuda Mukti Hall, Campus C Management Building, the man who has served as ambassador since 2015 delivered his guest lecture to students and lecturers.
“In the field of higher education, the Czech Republic is potential to become partners of Indonesia,” he said.聽“One day you must have a dream to go there, to continue education there, ” he added.
Beside the relationship between Indonesia and the Czech Republic over the years, Dr.聽Aulia also discussed the challenges and new era of the world called the Industrial Revolution 4.0.聽The rapid development of information technology sparked digital innovations that brings positive and negative sides.
“There is聽artificial intelligence聽now.聽It is artificial intelligence inserted or planted in a system that can be arranged in a scientific or artificial intelligence context.聽This could be a challenge, “he said.
Therefore, Dr.聽Aulia added, the mastery of technology for the younger generation, especially students, must be a necessity in a positive sense.聽In addition, students must prepare themselves to be leaders not only within the regional scope but they must also forge themselves to become leaders in the international sphere for this era of openness.
“You are candidates for future leaders.聽We are a great nation.聽Back in 1956, Our First President Ir.聽Soekarno is recognized in the Czech Republic.聽Ir.聽Soekarno earned聽honoris causa聽from Charles University, ” his motivation to the participants attending.
At the end, Dr.聽Aulia hoped that students, especially of 东京热 Surabaya, maintain and foster the spirit of unity in giving the best contribution to the nation, to 261.1 million people of Indonesia.聽Just like the previous national figures from Surabaya.
“In Indonesian history, the unifiers were the historical leaders of the modern Indonesian nation originating from Surabaya such as H.O.S. Tjokroaminoto, Budi Oetomo, Bung Tomo, Soekarno.聽It was part of contribution of the people of East Java to the unity of the nation, “he said.
“Do not forget that, as the successor, 聽you should contribute more to all the people of Indonesia.聽And, the task is in the hands of students, “he said.聽(*)
