UNAIR NEWS聽– Yusfia Anggreini Haq, a student of Political Science Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) , graduated in March 2015 is now one of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) staff.聽Yusfia passed and achieved the second highest in prospective civil servants selection(CPNS) Kemenkumham in Indonesia聽through cumlaude聽track聽in 2017 on Thursday, November 9.
According to Yufia, the聽cumlaude聽track聽is a path specifically aimed at the best graduates with a GPA above 3.4.聽In addition, they are from accredited A universities. They were ranked nationwide directly without聽passing grade.
“Without聽passing grade聽meaning it is ranked nationwide after they passed the Basic Competence Selection test (SKD) with聽Computer Assisted Test聽(CAT) system,” she said.
Yusfia added that the CPNS test must go through three stages.聽First, the administrative stage.聽At that stage, the participants are required to complete the required papers.
“In addition, they have to create an account at聽sscn.bkn.go.id聽,” she continued.
The next stage is SKD CAT.聽There are three types of questions with a total of one hundred questions.聽Yusfia continued, the question consists of 35 questions of National Insight Test (TWK), 30 General Intelligence Test (TIU), and 35 Personal Personality Test (TKP).聽Each of them has a聽passing grade聽that must be exceeded to pass the next stage.
“However, this聽passing grade聽does not apply to the聽cumlaude聽track聽,” he said.
After passing the ranking system nationwide, there is Field Competence Selection (SKB).聽For the SKB, there are two types of tests, computer and interview with 50:50 value.
“After waiting for the announcement about a month, Alhamdulillah,” she said.
Yusfia chose immigration analysis as one strategy to get a bigger chance of passing.聽She has followed the direct progression of BKN’s number of registrants.
“At first, I do not have a picture of what will I do at work.聽However, after a month of work, it turns out that this job that I get is in accordance with my ability.聽And, my knowledge I gained during college is applicable, ” she explained.
Before registering for CPNS, Yusfia acknowledged that she wanted to continue her studies abroad.聽She was admitted to a university in Australia.聽However, because Yusfia did not get the scholarship she finally decided to postpone her education.
“I hope UNAIR organizes preparatory training or debriefing to prospective graduates.聽For example, tests on interest that will be suitable for the professional world or debriefing about the world of work on a regular basis, ” she concluded.聽(*)
