UNAIR NEWS – The best bachelor鈥檚 degree graduate of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences , Anggi Prawitasari said that her obstacle in study was time management. She found her comfort zone, so she did not talk much to friends who are actively interacting.
“I give lessons at home.聽When my class clashed with teaching schedule, I was in trouble.聽I’m a thinker and quiet type and compared to my friends who really like challenges, “she explained.
Her struggle during college was to get motivation to continue learning, to improve and retain what has been achieved in the future.聽One of them, through a small indicator, increases the GPA until she graduated with 3.98 GPA and declared the best.
“The struggle in anthropology is also related to my motivation which is often in contrast with the family.聽Anthropology is considered less prospective, and I want to prove it wrong, ” she said.
For her thesis, Anggi claimed to focus on the study of change, especially the聽toilet聽training phenomenon.聽The research was conducted in Kelurahan Kedungdoro, Surabaya.
“This topic was chosen based on my experience when I happened to chat with mothers in the neighborhood.聽I am also interested in the recent phenomenon, on the diaper waste in Surabaya rivers which is terrible, ” she said.
Anggi still gives lessons including as thesis editor of her fellow classmen before going into the professional world.聽She also plans to seek information about master鈥檚 degree scholarships.
However, considering his father鈥檚 retirement this year, Anggi must replace him as the backbone of the family because she still has a brother.聽The achievement, according to Anggi, was from hardwork and prayers of her parents.
“Inevitably, I must be good at managing time, learning, playing, and resting.聽So, the affairs in college can be finished easily.聽One more, do not hesitate to ask when we do not understand, “said Anggi.聽(*)
