UNAIR NEWS 鈥撀After successfully holding national championship Airlangga Cup III in March, 聽Student Activity Unit (UKM) Taekwondo聽聽Airlangga held a joint practice 聽on Sunday, April 30 in Campus C UNAIR Stadium.
The joint-practice of Taekwondo athletes was participated by UKM members of three universities in Surabaya, Institut Teknologi 10 Nopember, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Perbanas, and Universitas Hang Tuah.
The head of UNAIR Taekwondo UKM Adelia Dwi Pratiwi said that this joint prcatice was annually held by UNAIR Taekwondo UKM. 鈥淎n organization usually needs innovation to develop. With this joint-practice, UKM Taekwondo athletes can share their views with other athletes from different universities. Besides gaining new skill, their ties was strengthened well,鈥 said Adelia.
It was also stated by Bellaningtyas Komarasasih, Head of Universitas Hang Tuah Taekwondo UKM. 鈥淚t鈥檚 very interesting, we can get a lot of new friends and skills, we become even more spirited to practice as we learn a lot from it. We hope next year this event can be organized again and even more livelier,鈥 said Bella.
Not only joint-practice, UNAIR Taekwondo UKM also held this event interestingly. There was an interesting part of tricking session. There were applauding audiences.
鈥淭his tricking performance is for the joint-practice participants. Hopefully this event can be carried on and invited more participation from universities in Surabaya,鈥 said Adelia.
