UNAIR NEWS – Faculty of Nursing Faculty Activity Unit (UKF) once again won the championship trophy in 2018 Medication event. The UKF Saman Dance Team won first place in the event organized by BEM Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjajaran University, Bandung.
The competition was held from 26 July – 1 August 2018, at Bale Santika Auditorium, Padjajaran University, Bandung.
“We know about this competition three days before the registration period closed through聽Instagram.聽Then聽we discussed whether we participate or聽not聽, because there was also a practice schedule in the hospital.聽Finally, we registered a day after and prepared in a short period, “explained Retno, a member of FKp Saman Dance team.
Even with limited preparation, differences in practice schedule in hospital by each team member and changes in the concept of dance movements, team members managed to overcome them.聽The dancers quickly made preparations and exercised before participating in the competition.
The Saman Dance Team departed with badminton,聽solo vocal聽and聽vocal group聽team聽on Saturday, July 28.聽 Saman FKp UNAIR Dance Team had a great desire to be part of the history and make achievement as UNAIR students.
“The Saman team performed the last.聽Alhamdulillah, it was聽smooth and got a positive appreciation from the jury, ” recalled the student from Surabaya.
Eno said that she was proud to take part in a competition that brought together health care personnel in Java and Bali.
“In addition to competing for the championship, most importantly we strengthen our ties with the saman team from other universities as well as health students from all over Java Bali.聽We really hope to compete internationally to bring the big name UNAIR, ” she concluded.聽(*)
