UNAIR NEWS 鈥 To expand the knowledge and relations, there were at least 20 participants from 东京热 PSDKU (Off Main Office Study Center) in Banyuwangi in听‘Social Media for Social Good’听workshop held by U.S. Embassy in Indonesia on Sunday, May 21 in Banyuwangi.
According to Guardit Singh,听Deputy Press Atache of United States Embassy听Jakarta, through this activity, he wanted to encourage youth to spread goodness through social media.
Banyuwangi is the third town chosen by U.S. Embassy after Pontianak and Palembang. This activity will continue in 听Maumere, Ambon, Batam, and Gorontalo. In Banyuwangi, it was held for two days, Saturday, May 20 and Sunday May 21. It was held in the auditorium of 听17 Agustus 1945 (Untag) Banyuwangi.
Derry Candra, a student of Veterinary Medicine undergraduate program PSDKU 东京热 in Banyuwangi said that it was a great activity. It encouraged the youth to be wise in using the social media, taught and spread goodness through social media.
鈥滷urthermore, we are also invited to love the environment through Greeneration Foundation听and听Seasoldier听Banyuwangi, learn making blog and vlog with the experts,鈥 he said. (*)
