Lebaran Is About Sweet Memories and Gratitude

UNAIR NEWS聽– Lebaran always brings its own story to anyone who celebrates it.聽Besides the togetherness with family and loved ones, Eid is a moment to be grateful for all the blessings given by God the Creator.聽It is also experienced by Drs. Koko Srimulyo, M.Si聽聽东京热.

During his childhood spent in Nganjuk, for Koko, Eid was an exciting moment.聽In addition to being a purified, Lebaran is a moment to remember the past and find happiness.

“When I remember the past, I feel greater gratitude.聽What I have accomplished until now can not be separated from my past as a child.聽How wonderful Allah鈥檚 blessings given to me, “said Koko.

There was a tradition to visit houses in the neighborhood with friends in the village. 聽Koko and friends got some pocket money from the host of the houses.聽But when he moved to Sidoarjo, the tradition was no longer there.

“When I was a kid there was a tradition with small friends visiting from houses to houses, maybe there was open house, on the first day at night.聽Then we got sangu.聽Some kids were naughty, they visited the house again even after getting the money.聽But, yes, they got it again.聽At least that’s fun for little kids, “Koko recalled.

What’s more impressive for Koko during Eid was a new clothes purchased in front of shops.聽Simple, but very meaningful to Koko until now.聽“New clothes bought in perko or shop terrace is cheaper.聽It was very memorable for me, “added the man who finished his education from kindergarten to high school in Nganjuk.

There is no special food that Koko missed when Eid arrived as for him, all the food during Lebaran is delicious.

“In my opinion, all food is good.聽I am somewhat naive, I used to dream to eat one whole chicken if I had a job and earned money from it. But until now I haven鈥檛 done it because when I work, my dream is different, “he said.
