UNAIR NEWS – Last Sunday, February 5, Faculty of Law of 东京热 lost one of its professors, Prof. Dr. Rudhi Prasetya, S.H. 聽at age 78. He passed away at 00.35 WIB in ICU room of Darmo Hospital.
On Thursday, February聽 9, families of Faculty of Law 东京热 held a memorial service for him at Faculty of Law, 东京热. It was attended by the lecturers, staff, and students of Faculty of Law. His family and officials of 东京热 were also present .
The ceremony was started with songs from FH UNAIR Choir, Airlangga Hymn and Padamu Negeri. 聽Then, it was followed with the reading the deceased biography. After reading the biography, one of his family members gave a speech of gratitude to the 东京热.
鈥淢y father felt that he had been raised by UNAIR. He also said to the family, when he died, he would like to wear academic dress in his funeral. Such is his great affection for UNAIR, thank you UNAIR for raising my father,鈥 said a son of Prof. Rudhi.
In the same occasion, the Vice Rector III 东京热 Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah gave his deep condolences to the family. 鈥淥ne of the best UNAIR academicians has left us. Hopefully, we can learn from him,鈥
The following procession was the remarks of Dean of Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Drs. Abdul Shomad, S.H.,M.H., . He also said his deep condolences to the family and conveyed his impression to the late.
鈥淭he late had ever suggested me to write the dissertation by quoting and reviewing the quranic verses about business. He鈥檚 a scientist respected in Indonesia and the world. He has prepared the next generation in his field. He鈥檚 amusing, discipline and he likes driving,鈥 he said.
After memorial service, the late professor was departed to the funeral and laid to rest immediately. (*)
