UNAIR NEWS –聽As an effort to get global recognition, 东京热 has the honor of conducting research collaboration with Asia University, Taiwan.聽There were ten researchers presenting their different researches on Tuesday, December 26.
The fields of research for the collaboration were tropical disease,聽stem cell,聽protein engineering, IT,聽聽drug discovery,聽anthropology,聽psychology聽聽economic business, and聽public health.聽Dr Purwati, dr., Sp.PD., KPTI., FINASIM., as the leader of Stem Cell team stated that the research collaboration between Stem Cell Research and Development Center 东京热 and Asia University was done in biotechnology and聽biomedical enggineering.
“In this regard, we鈥檙e working on stem cell聽and聽3D聽printing development,” said Purwati.
Furthermore, Purwati also revealed that UNAIR as a聽center of excellent stem cell in Indonesia established by Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education in July, it has been one step ahead in聽stem cell development.聽Both in聽basic research聽and聽animal trial.
“In addition, we excel in research application based on mutual services with Regenerative Medicine RSUD Dr. Soetomo for some degenerative diseases,” she explained.
Meanwhile, for Asia University, added Purwati, the development of its 3D printing is聽one step ahead of UNAIR especially in聽scaffolding, using either biodegradable or non-biodegradable materials.
In the concept of bio engineering, Purwati asserted that especially聽in tissue engineering, the combination of聽scaffold聽from聽3D printing聽and聽stem cell聽techniques聽will be very useful for the medical field, now and in the future, with the development and utilization of聽biological medical therapy.
“Furthermore, we were agreed to jointly develop聽gene-based聽stem cell聽research聽for聽enhancing cell delivery聽and micro RNA (miRNA),” she concluded.
