RADIO UNAIR听鈥 There is a unique tradition maintained by UNAIR Radio management.听 Every guest invited to the studio located in Student Center (SC), Campus C UNAIR, is requested to write testimonials and stick it on the board on the studio鈥檚 wall. The board now looks like a wall magazine full of testimonials.
鈥漈o every guest invited to the studio for broadcast, talkshow, or other programs, we give them a sheet of paper to write their impressions about the radio. From their comments we get useful inputs,鈥 said Bang Idoy, coordinator of UNAIR Radio whose full name is Yudira Pasada Lubis.
The testimonial board draws anyone attention in the room. From outside, it is located precisely to the right of the studio鈥檚 door. There are colorful sheets of paper with many comments on Radio UNAIR on them.
According to Bang Idoy, they have had that tradition since 2013. From those comments, the radio鈥檚 performance as an informative media established by UNAIR Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) can be monitored.
Eventhough it is an internet radio, the content is very informative about campus and youth, thus the guests invited include experts, lecturers/professors, students, organizations鈥 representatives and even the public.
Based on the comments on the wall, most of the guests appreciate the radio as they give positive responses or comments on the radio鈥檚 broadcasts, features, and other informative products. With those inputs, the radio management keeps improving the radio quality for the university.
