Puspas Donates 20 Chairs for UNAIR Library

UNAIR NEWS – Libraries in a university have functions of education, information sources, research support, recreation, and publications for students.聽As the heart of university, libraries are entitled to have excellent facilities and infrastructure considering the important role of libraries in fulfilling the needs of all students to learn.
In UNAIR library, there are some newly established rooms which do not have not adequate facility, such as Partana Room (near聽Aussie Corner).聽The Partana Room itself was officially opened last year.聽But until now the room had not functioned properly due to limited facilities such as chairs and tables.聽At a glance, the chairs owned by the UNAIR Library need to be replaced.
Seeing this condition, UNAIR Center for Social Fund Management (Puspas) donated 20 chairs to Campus B UNAIR Library on Thursday, Jan. 31.聽There are 40 chairs have been donated by Puspas UNAIR for Campus B. The previous 20 chairs were used in the reading room on 2nd floor.
“This is the second time UNAIR Puspas has provided assistance.聽Previously, UNAIR Puspas donated 20 seats on 9 November 2018, “said Prof.聽Dr.聽I Made Narse SE., M.Si, Ak., CA., as Head of the UNAIR Library.
Prof. Narse said that donation of chairs indirectly gave encouragement to UNAIR Library.聽With that, UNAIR Library will be more active in providing the best service to visitors, especially for students.
“As a place often visited by students, UNAIR library must prioritize the comfort of students by providing good facilities,” continued Prof. Narse.
Prof. Narse hoped that after the donation, Campus B Library will grow and develop.聽Hopefully UNAIR library is able to provide better service because our satisfaction as service providers is when visitors, especially students, feel accommodated.
“Later, not only Campus B Library given donation, but Campus C Library and A will get it as well,” concluded Prof. Narse.聽(*)
