UNAIR NEWS – Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Student Regiment (Menwa) (UNAIR) prepared the best personnel for the National Education Day ceremony on May 2.聽This can be seen from the practice carried out every day in the field in front of UNAIR Management office.聽As seen on Sunday, April 28, 2019.
Galih Aji Sukma, one of Menwa personnel assigned to Trisula, revealed that the practice had a very good impact.聽He hoped that it could remind students on the struggles of heroes, especially in the world of education in Indonesia.
“What is certain here is that we are trained to be responsible people.聽After the lectures I have to practice for the ceremony.聽That is my challenge for about one month, “Galih said.
Besides, continued Galih, they were also trained for teamwork as flag hoisting team cannot only rely on individual abilities.聽“It is like a stick that is strung together into a broom stick,” he added.
Pandhu Herlambang as Head of UKM Menwa revealed that in the practice, a lot of material was delivered by the task force to the personnel, starting from a standing posture, a salute, to a steady step.聽It aims to familiarize a neat and firm attitude at the flag hoisting ceremony.
“Practice was conducted by participants for one month.聽So far the exercises given such as movements in the place include a standing posture, at ease position, and formation training so that there are variations for the hoisting, “Pandhu said.
At the end of interview, Pandhu revealed that the duration of practice and presenting the formation at the ceremony were the efforts of Menwa to attract student enthusiasm.聽Also, to recall the struggle of education heroes in Indonesia.
