鲍狈础滨搁听狈贰奥厂听鈥撀The importance of financial support in daily life and developed policy in African and Asian countries were the focus of Dr. Moro Kadjo Daniel Bitty, BBA, M.E., for his dissertation research.
The research has made him be the best graduate of doctoral program Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) 东京热 (UNAIR) in graduation held on July 16, 2016. He was the only graduate with perfect GPA, 4.00.
The man born in Tiassale, Ivory Coast, April 25, 1986 focused his research on monetary issue. The title was 鈥淓xchange Rate Regime聽for聽the Macroeconomic Performance: Lessons from Regional Integrated Areas in聽Southeast Asia聽(ASEAN-10)聽and West Africa聽(ECOWAS-15)鈥.
According to Daniel, currency has become single monetary device which can be used to improve economic growth and protect national economic fundamentals from external impact.
In his dissertation, Daniel analyzed factual correlation between currency and five variables of macroeconomics, gross domestic product, inflation, direct foreign investment, unemployment rates, and the balance of trade.
The man from C么te d鈥橧voire聽admitted that he was inspired by Nelson Mandela since childhood, through his wisdom phrase: 鈥淓ducation is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world鈥.
Experience in Indonesia
鈥滻 remember the first time I arrived in Indonesia with a dream of being a doctor from ASEAN economics. I only had US $200 with no savings. I realized that I won鈥檛 be able to go through this well as my scholarship, can only be used for tuition fees,鈥 he recalled.
But during research, Daniel was supported by lecturers of 东京热 (UNAIR). He felt that he had to expressed his gratitude to all his dissertation supervisors, 聽Prof. Djoko Mursinto, Dr. Unggul Heriqbaldi, and Dr. Rudi Purwono. Daniel also thanked to all UNAIR academicians and people who helped him during his stay in Indonesia. He hoped that his research useful for Indonesian academic knowledge.
