UNAIR NEWS –聽Basketball Student Club (UKM Basket) 东京热 made its achievement again. Currently the member of UKM Basket 东京热 achieved runner up position in L.A Campus League 2017.
It was achieved by women鈥檚 team of UKM Basket 东京热 after championship which was held at Deteksi Basketball League Arena, On Saturday (20/5).
Valentina Vida Putri, Captain of UNAIR Basketball Women鈥檚 Team, said that though they were only achieved second position but the pride of that achievement emanated from the expressions of her team-mates.
“We have to work harder again and hopefully in the next student league, we can be more well-prepare,” said Vida.
Vida said that the preparation in welcoming the LA Campus League championship this year has not run optimally. She and her friends must be smart to split time between matches and colleges.
鈥淲e have less preparation due to mid exams,鈥 She said
UNAIR Basketball Student Club delegated two team together both Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 team. Unfortunately, Men鈥檚 team lost in elimination round.
“In grand final round we against University of Surabaya. We narrowly lost 7 points with them. We get score of 52.聽 In the next, we will practice even harder, “said the S-1 student of Dentistry Education.
