UNAIR NEWS –UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak, inducted the member of university’s student organizations’ management. They were the chairman, secretary, members of Student representative Assembly (MPM), Chairman of Student Legislative Council (DLM), Chairman and Vice Chairman of Student Executive Board (BEM), the Head and Secretary of Student Organization Communication Forum, and all student clubs’ (UKM) head in UNAIR. The induction was held on Wednesday March 16 in Garuda Mukti Hall, UNAIR Management Office.

In his official address, UNAIR Rector congratulated the chosen leadership and the ones who have been entrusted for a term. He advised them to perform well as they were trusted by others.

“Being in a management of an organization is not an easy task, to work in it students have to make physical and non-physical, resources and spiritual sacrifices,” said Prof Nasih in his address.

The Rector appreciated the previous leadership as there were so many achievements made for UNAIR. Chairman and Vice Chairman of BEM UNAIR 2015 was considered to hold students’ trust well. In Febryan Kiswanto  and Hadi Subarkah, BEM UNAIR has conducted many programs at national or international.

“Don’t forget to always be sensitive and critical to the society’s condition around the campus. Community Service Program and our education should be done. Last year, BEM UNAIR had program which was appreciated by the society,  including mayor, and governor,” said Prof. Nasih.

He expected the Chairman and vice chairman BEm UNAIR 2016 can do better and made a lot of excellent achievement.

Prof. Nasih also appreciated UKM UNAIR which has given many achievements at regional, national and even international level. In the induction, Airlangga Religious Arts has been approved by the Rector with a decree.  (*)
