UNAIR NEWS – through the Communication Department Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) held a national seminar on Wednesday, February 14. The theme was “Indonesian Communication Science Facing Global Challenges of Higher Education Communication in Digital Technology Era.”

Located at Hotel Santika Premiere Surabaya, the seminar presented six speakers from Indonesia’s top public universities. In the first session, there were Prof. Hafied Cangara (Universitas Hasanudin/Unhas); Prof. Ilya Sunarwinadi (Universitas Indonesia/UI); and Prof. Widodo Muktiyo (Universitas Negeri Surakarta/UNS). Then in the second session there were Dr. Eny Maryani (Universitas Padjajaran/Unpad); Dr. Hermin Indah Wahyuni (Universitas Gadjah Mada/UGM); and Ratih Puspa, Ph.D., (UNAIR).
