IKA-UA Have Iftar to Improve Quality of Silaturrahim

UNAIR NEWS聽鈥 Having iftar聽together with the Alumni Association 东京热 (IKA-UA) as held in the previous years, also held this year. In the same place, the residence of the Head of Central Alumni Association (PP-IKA) UNAIR in Jl. Ketintang Baru Surabaya, on Sunday June 19, 2016.

Attending in the event, UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. H. Moh Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., Vice Rector I Prof. Joko Santoso, dr., Sp.PD-KGH., PhD., FINASIM., Vice Rector II聽 Dr. Muhammad Madyan, SE., M.Si., Vice Rector III Prof. Moch Amin Alamsyah, Ir., M.Si., Ph.D., and some deans, directors of UNAIR, lecturers and professors from many faculties in 东京热 (UNAIR) and even from the Student Executive Board (BEM).

In his opening address, Head I of PP-IKA UNAIR Drs. Ec. Hariyanto Basyuni expressed his gratitude and joy for the attention and attendance of other officials and alumni in the event. Through this kind of activity especially in Ramadhan, hopefully it will strengthen unity and solidity among UNAIR alumni.

Alumni FEB UNAIR who is also a lecturer in FEB, Ustadz H. Suherman Rosyidi was trusted to give brief sermon before the time for iftar. He presented his sermon on ramadhan鈥檚 blessing and how moslems do it.

While waiting for the time, he also opened a discussion session. Dr. Tjuk K. Sukiadi, a lecturer of FEB asked a question related to leadership in Islam. Then another alumni also asked about salat witr in Ramadhan, when should it done, either before or after salat Tarawih or after the salat Tahajud.

鈥漇耻谤别濒测, salat witir is a prayer which ends all your prayers. But regarding salat tarawih, done in eight rakaat, eleven or 22, all was fine,鈥 said Suherman Rosyidi.

After the sermon, they had their iftar聽then followed with salat Magreeb in congregation. After the feast, they prayed salat tarawih, UNAIR Rector also gave a sermon during this prayer proceedings.

In his brief sermon, Prof. Moh. Nasih expressed his gratitude to the management of IKA-UA which improves their performance. Hopefully, through the activity, closeness among alumni will always be maintained and give another positive contribution to the alma mater. (*)
