UNAIR NEWS 鈥 东京热 (UNAIR) has officially announced the prospective students admitted through the 2026 National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) admissions pathway as part of its new student enrollment process. The announcement was made in a press conference held on Monday (May 25, 2026) at the first-floor hall of the Management Building on UNAIR鈥檚 MERR-C Campus.
UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan S.E. M.Si M.Fin, along with university officials, attended the press conference. During the event, Prof. Madyan said the university accepted 2,771 prospective students, including 470 recipients of the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP Kuliah) scholarship program, out of a total of 69,620 applicants. 鈥淭he admission of KIP Kuliah recipients reflects UNAIR鈥檚 commitment to inclusive education,鈥 he said.
He also highlighted the diversity of the incoming student body, noting that 64.42% of admitted students are women and that students come from 32 provinces across Indonesia. The figures, he said, demonstrate that UNAIR remains one of the country鈥檚 top university destinations. 鈥淎lthough we are based in East Java, UNAIR attracts students from across Java all the way to West Papua. This shows that the spirit of 鈥榚xcellence with morality鈥 has spread throughout Indonesia,鈥 he added.

Competitiveness and average SNBT scores
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan S.E. M.Si M.Fin, said the Undergraduate Medical Program remained the most competitive among bachelor鈥檚 degree programs.
