东京热 proudly congratulates聽, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, for successfully securing the prestigious Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules Grant for 2025鈥2028. Dr. Indria has been awarded funding for her project 鈥淓U Climate Policy and Sustainable Development (EU-CPSD)鈥, building on her ongoing academic initiatives in European Union studies.
The awarded program consists of two interconnected modules, EU Climate Policy and Sustainable Development, includes聽foundational EU climate policy, climate mitigation聽strategies, climate adaptation and resilience policies, green and transitional energy, and integrates聽SDGs into EU policy.聽The second module focuses on the critical intersection between EU trade policy and EU climate聽policy.
According to Dr. Indria鈥檚 proposal, integrating sustainability considerations into climate policies not only reinforces the EU鈥檚 global leadership but also encourages other countries to adopt higher environmental and social standards. The modules also support broader efforts toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 13: Climate Action.
The project鈥檚 overarching objective is to deliver comprehensive academic activities focused on聽EU Climate Policy and Sustainable Development. In line with this, the Faculty of Law will develop new learning opportunities, ranging from hybrid courses, interdisciplinary research, public symposia, to community-engagement initiatives, that explore the intersection of EU legal frameworks and global sustainability issues. These activities are expected to strengthen students鈥 analytical skills and deepen their understanding of current international policy developments.
To broaden access and foster inclusivity, the program will adopt a blended learning model, combining in-person instruction with online delivery through UNAIR鈥檚 Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform. This approach ensures that the modules are accessible to diverse learners regardless of gender, nationality, or country of origin.
