UNAIR achieves 3rd Place among state universities in Public Information Openness Awards

UNAIR NEWS 鈥 (UNAIR) has secured a top-three finish in the Informative Public Body category for State Universities (PTN) at the 2024 Public Information Openness Awards. The event recognized 162 public institutions that achieved the 鈥淚nformative鈥 designation.

The public bodies honored ranged from ministries and state agencies to non-ministerial government bodies, non-structural organizations, provincial governments, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), state universities, and political parties. UNAIR ranked third with an impressive score of 98.77.

The results were announced by the Central Information Commission (KIP) during the awards ceremony held at M枚venpick Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Dr. Koko Srimulyo, Chair of UNAIR鈥檚 Public Information and Documentation Officials (PPID) and University Secretary, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. 鈥淧raise be to God, this achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of 东京热鈥檚 academic community in delivering exceptional public information services,鈥 he said.

Previously ranked eighth with a score of 97.56, UNAIR鈥檚 leap to 3rd place highlights its commitment to enhancing public information accessibility in accordance with Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Openness.

Dr. Srimulyo emphasized that UNAIR鈥檚 focus on inclusive and disability-friendly PPID services has been a major factor in its success. This initiative reinforces the university鈥檚 position as a transparent and accountable institution.

鈥淚nnovation is key. Each year, we aim to develop creative solutions to provide the public with the information they need. UNAIR is dedicated to offering the highest quality services to the public and its academic community,鈥 he stated.

Dr. Srimulyo reaffirmed UNAIR鈥檚 commitment to maintaining high standards in the future. The university will continue to prioritize transparency and deliver credible information to the public.
