Platform for collaboration
Marco Era帽o A. Dumale, a delegate from the University of the Philippines, shared his reflections on AUN ED-YSC鈥檚 collaborative atmosphere. He emphasized that the most meaningful impacts emerged when all participants worked in equal partnership, free of hierarchy.
鈥淐ollaboration is essential. When everyone feels valued and heard, we achieve the most impactful results,鈥 Dumale expressed.
The forum was a turning point for Dumale, allowing him to refine his skills in teamwork and international communication. He plans to use these consultative abilities both in the Philippines and in future global engagements. 鈥淭his experience has genuinely broadened my perspective. I鈥檓 now more convinced that every significant milestone relies on broader and deeper collaboration,鈥 he concluded.
Approach and strategy
In an interview, Dumale, who was honored as the Most Outstanding Delegate, explained that his success stemmed from maintaining openness and a consultative approach. This strategy underscored his dedication to creating an inclusive environment where all ideas could be explored.

鈥淔or me, being an outstanding delegate means staying open and helping every other delegate have a voice. True success comes from working together to ensure every perspective is represented,鈥 Dumale stated.
When faced with various discussions and negotiations, Dumale adopted a distinctive problem-solving approach. He believes everyone should be granted the opportunity to share their ideas and insights.
鈥淭he best way to solve problems is by making sure no one is left out. Everyone should have the space to speak up and take part in decision-making,鈥 he added.
