UNAIR NEWS 鈥 The 40th Airlangga Career, Entrepreneurship, and Scholarship Expo (ACESFA) has been concluded, marking another milestone in bridging graduates with the job markets. Organized by 东京热鈥檚 () Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni Affairs (DPKKA), the career fair was held from Tuesday, September 24, 2024, to Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
Open to the general public, this year鈥檚 ACESFA attracted 5,150 registrants and 6,458 visitors. A total of 81 companies participated, including 46 onsite and 32 online, offering hundreds of job openings.

Hanif Fadhlillah, SA, MSEI, AWP, chairman of 40th ACESFA, highlighted in his opening remarks that the career fair serves as UNAIR鈥檚 initiative to bridge the academic world with professional industries. He emphasized that the event is also a platform to foster broader collaboration for the development of high-quality human resources.
鈥淲e hope participants gain a deeper understanding of the professional landscape through this event and use the opportunity to build professional networks, which will help them pursue successful careers,鈥 Hanif said.
UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE, MT, Ak, officially opened the event on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. In his address, he expressed optimism that the partnerships with participating companies would continue to flourish and lead to meaningful outcomes.
鈥淚n the future, we hope that the partnership extends beyond mere participation in the Career Fair. We aim for our partner companies to actively recruit UNAIR alumni as qualified candidates selected through this event,鈥 Prof. Nasih concluded.
Through DPKKA, UNAIR hopes the career fair will significantly improve the employability of its graduates. Additionally, the annual event is designed to give companies a chance to discover outstanding talent from UNAIR alumni.
