UNAIR NEWS – Alumni gathering held in the same occasion as 29^th Student National Science Week (PIMNAS) in Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), was a great moment  for alumni and contingent of UNAIR as it was the chance for alumni to support and motivate UNAIR contingent which is competing in PIMNAS.

“Let’s support our juniors who are competing  this time,” said Prof. Nasih in front of the attending alumni in UNAIR Alumni Gathering on Tuesday, August 9.

UNAIR 13^th Rector also added that seniors’ presence supporting the contingent can give extra motivation. “Hopefully with the seniors here in the competition can give extra motivation to them. And so they know that there are many successful alumni of UNAIR,” said Prof. Nasih.

In Alumni Gathering held in Hotel Padjajaran, a few teams presented their works in front of the alumni. Prof. Nasih said that UNAIR students’ innovations and contributions are improving each day and their works are expected to be applicable in the society with alumni supports.

“If we see our juniors’ works, they are not less superior than other universities, it is all decided by two things, palm lines and involvement. And of course, they need our involvements from all of us, alumni,” said Prof. Nasih followed with giggles among the audience. (*)
