UNAIR NEWS聽– As an effort of internationalization, 东京热 received a visit from the New Zealand Ambassador to Indonesia HE.聽Dr.聽Trevor Matheson.聽During the visit on Monday, January 8, the Ambassador of New Zealand was welcomed by Rector of UNAIR Prof.聽Dr.聽Moh.聽Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., with other UNAIR officials.
The Ambassador of New Zealand stated that in addition to the 60-year anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and New Zealand, the visit was made to know UNAIR’s vision and missions as well as various research and academic climate at UNAIR.
“With this visit, we hope to establish various academic collaboration between UNAIR and various universities in New Zealand,” he explained.聽“For research, we have excellence in agriculture, renewable energy, and disaster,” he added.
In response to the statement of New Zealand Ambassador, Rector of UNAIR Prof.聽Nasih explained the vision and missions as well as UNAIR’s strategic plan in the future.聽In addition, Prof.聽Nasih showed the position of UNAIR, both at national and international level.
“On national scale, we are in top four.聽We all continue to pursue excellence together,” said Prof.聽Nasih.
Besides Prof.聽Nasih, the Director of Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) UNAIR Prof.聽Dr.聽Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, Dra., M.Si., also gave a response regarding the visit of New Zealand Ambassador.聽For Prof.聽Nyoman, the offer for collaborative research is very relevant with the condition of UNAIR.
“They offered a collaborative research in the fields of our focus.聽For example, in the fields of veterinary, fishery, science and pharmacy, and management, ” she said.聽(*)
