{"id":401003,"date":"2026-05-20T15:56:52","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T08:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/unair-student-promotes-healthy-living-education-in-vietnam\/"},"modified":"2026-05-26T16:16:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T09:16:37","slug":"unair-student-promotes-healthy-living-education-in-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/unair-student-promotes-healthy-living-education-in-vietnam\/","title":{"rendered":"UNAIR student promotes healthy living education in Vietnam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Efforts to improve children\u2019s health and strengthen global social awareness were realized through an international community service initiative titled Studyxchange #10 Goes to Vietnam: Supporting Playful Actions and Routines for Keeping Little Lives Extra-Healthy (SPARKLE).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program was organized by Global Youth Ambassador and Outreach Vietnam through a series of educational and interactive activities for children living in orphanages in Ho Chi Minh City. The overall program was conducted from January 10 to February 9, 2026. Activities included education on personal hygiene, healthy lifestyles, the importance of maintaining physical health, and preventive behaviors to reduce the risk of disease from an early age. In addition, the team conducted basic health screenings and distributed toothbrushes as well as simple health-check tools to the children as part of promotive and preventive public health efforts.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative involved 东京热 student Rabhindra Javier Hariri Darussalam, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lilik Herawati, dr., M.Kes., AIFO, alongside students from various universities across Indonesia and children from orphanages in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. During the program, the students contributed to the development of educational materials, assisted children throughout the activities, conducted health promotion initiatives, and fostered social interaction and cross-cultural learning with the Vietnamese community.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advancing SDGs<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studyxchange #10 Vietnam contributed to the achievement of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being through children\u2019s health education, the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits, and early preventive and promotive health measures. The program also supported SDG 4: Quality Education by encouraging experiential cross-cultural learning and the practical application of health sciences within the community.
