UNAIR NEWS – Firanti Claudia Gea, has studied people with聽schizophrenia or a disease where people difficult to distinguish between reality and their own minds.聽A thesis titled聽“An Overview of Marriage Commitment of Wife with Schizophrenia (ODS)”聽was well defended.
The theme rarely studied made her named as the best bachelor鈥檚 degree graduate of Faculty of Psychology 东京热.聽Firanti achieved 3.73 GPA.聽The graduate known as Claudia chose the title because she was concerned with family mental health issues.聽The woman born in Batam believes that mental health is formed and started from an individual relationship with other members of the family.
“Because the family is the first place of an individual to learn everything, before he has the ability to interact with others,” she said.
Furthermore, Claudia explained that the study was aimed to determine the description of marriage commitment of wife with聽schizophrenic husband聽(ODS), men between 25 to 35 years of age at risk of experiencing聽higher levels of聽schozophrenia聽than women.
“So the symptoms of聽schizophrenia聽have potential to disrupt the function of a man as a husband,” she explained.

Admitted by Claudia, in doing the research she encountered various challenges even at the end phase of submission in September, she was still asked by her advisor to add the research subjects.聽However, despite many obstacles, the woman who join Choir UKM was successfully graduated as the best graduate.
“To be honest, I never imagined I could get this award,” she said.
At the end of the interview, she admitted that she could maintain the ranking in the top ten since elementary school.聽However, what she thinks to be the most important is the support of both parents and their prayers.聽Her parents have given all the needs as long as she studied.聽That’s why the first daughter from the beginning had determined not to apply 鈥渒upu-kupu” system (kuliah-pulang kuliah-pulang) which only focuses on classes activity.
“With that spirit, I am actively participating in Student Activity Unit (UKM) and other campus organizations,” Claudia said.聽(*)
