UNAIR NEWS聽– Airlangga University Bidikmisi Student Organization (AUBMO) PSDKU in Banyuwangi held a social event.聽This time the event was titled Ngaos Sareng Lare Bidikmisi.聽It was themed “Learning while Sharing One Letter For Eternity”, the activity was held on Thursday , April 19.
Ngaos Sareng Lare Bidik Misi was opened by Muhammad Fauzizarkasi, Head of AUBMO PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi.聽The activity involves the committee and聽volunteers聽from Bidikmisi scholarship recipients.
In total there were 20 students participating.聽They work together with the mosque management, Al-Quran teachers, and neighborhood officials.聽The event was held at TPQ (Al-Qur’an Education School) Al Hafidz Perum Sobo Indah Banyuwangi.聽The participants were students of TPQ, about 40 children.
According to the Coordinator of Community Service Division (Pengmas) AUBMO PSDKU in Banyuwangi Hayunda Fajri Solihah, the activity as the first program of them.
“Alhamdulillah, the activity ran well,” she said.
The students were very enthusiastic to follow the activity.聽They were very happy for the presence of the committee and聽volunteers as they聽come together to learn and assist the students.
“This event is one of the social activities aimed at students of TPQ Al-Haafiz Perum Sobo Indah Banyuwangi,” said Hyunda.
Aside from giving service, the activity was held due to the lack of human resources (HR) of the school.聽There are too many students, so the learning process cannot be maximized.
“Therefore, this activity is expected to be a solution. At the same time, the program of devotion is a way for bidikmisi students to get good deeds by sharing knowledge of religion and their Quran, ” she said.
“In addition, we hope this activity can continue until the next stewardship period,” she added.聽(*)
